This bed was once two seperate mulch mounds around the oak and the shrubs near the foundation. I just had to join them up to create 'flow'.Buford Holly at the back was planted to fill in and obscure all the piping utility stuff on the wall.
  

Plants here are Red Knockout roses, Dwarf Pittosporum, Azelea. Later on I plan to fill in the spaces with Marigold or something like that?!











 Next project was to work on the front bed drainage. Some areas have heavy clay which I simply dug up and back filled with some sand to help with permeability down the slope:






 Done!, the bed no long backs up with water near the stone border.
